I grew up painting in oils and have used cold wax techniques, but lately, I have been working with acrylic and a little mixed media, such as water-soluble crayons and paint markers.

My work tends to be loose, vibrant renderings of cities, capturing the moment and my passion for environments where urban meets nature. I use my favorite colors, often straight from the tube, and draw on top of painted layers for emphasis and energy.
I prefer to paint joy because life is hard enough, dark enough. I want someone to see my paintings and feel light and warmth no matter what is going on in their lives.
